Driady wed³ug mitologii by³y opiekunkami (lub duszami, zale¿y od ¼ród³a) drzew i innych ro¶lin. Przypomina³y m³ode dziewczyny, lecz mia³y nadludzk± urodê. Czasami ich w³osy przypomina³y pn±cza, a palce konary. Osobi¶cie jednak wolê wersjê piêknej dziewczyny
o nieco zwierzêcych oczach.
Kiedy mia³y taki kaprys, przemieszcza³y siê wraz z p³atkami kwiatów i li¶æmi. Zazwyczaj jednak porusza³y siê jak ludzie, lecz by³y nadludzko szybkie i zwinne.
Driady by³y odrêbn± ras±. Nie nazwê ich besti±, ani potworem, poniewa¿ bywa³y dobre driady i z³o¶liwe driady.
