Minotaur by³ to stwór o ciele cz³owieka i g³owie byka, niejednokrotnie pokazany jako stoj±cy na tylnych nogach rogaty stwór, poro¶niêty d³ug±, spl±tan± sier¶ci±.
Wed³ug mitologii Minotaur mieszka³ w labiryncie, a król Minos sk³ada³ mu ofiary z ludzi. W rzeczywisto¶ci Minotaur naprawdê istnia³ ;prawdopodobnie by³ to upo¶ledzony psychicznie syn Minosa, który nie mog±c rz±dziæ pañstwem zosta³ zamkniêty w labiryncie, a nastêpnie zg³adzony przez Tezeusza.

Ciekawe przedstawienie tych stworów widzia³am te¿ w filmie „Podró¿ jednoro¿ca”. Jego niezwyk³o¶æ polega³a na tym, ¿e minotaury by³y zarówno potworami, jak i bestiami.
W grze „Opowie¶ci z Narnii: lew, czarownica i stara szafa” mo¿emy powalczyæ sobie z wirtualnymi rogaczami. Za to w „Herosach” w naszej armii mog± pojawiæ siê minotaury.
