Hej, jestem Selena i b�d� prowadzi� ten pami�tnik. Mam nadziej�, �� moje nocie spodobaj� si� Wam tak samo jak poprzedniej autorki. W tym pami�tniku zamierzam opisa� �ycie Hermiony od kiedy dowiedzia�a si�, �e jest czarownic�. B�d� pisa� w pierwszej osobie. Kolejne notki b�d� opisywa�y jej pierwszy rok w Hogwarcie, drugi, trzeci itd. Oczywi�cie je�eli wcze�niej nie wymi�kne .

Unios�am ci�ko powieki. Przez wielkie okno w moim pokoju wpada�y ciep�e, s�oneczne promienie. By� �rodek lata, 22 lipca. Upa� dawa� si� ostatnio wszystkim we znaki. Trawy i plony by�y wysuszone, brakowa�o wody, a ponad to moim rodzicom bardzo �le sz�o w pracy (moja matka- Danielle i ojciec- Carol s� dentystami). Mieli coraz mniej klient�w, zarabiali coraz mniej pieni�dzy. A teraz do tego mia�am przenie�� si� do innej szko�y, gdzie podniesiono stopie� nauczania. Nie chc� si� przechwala�, ale jestem bardzo zdoln� uczennic�. A co najwa�niejsze, lubi� si� uczy�. No bo czy twierdzenie Pitagorasa nie jest fascynuj�ce? Dla mnie, owszem. W ka�dym b�d� razie unosz�c powieki, nie mia�am w g�owie pozytywnych my�li. Reszta wakacji nie zapowiada�a si� dobrze- nigdzie nie wyje�d�a�am, przez ca�e nast�pne 100 dni mia�am siedzie� w domu. Oczywi�cie zdoby�am ju� podr�czniki na nast�pny rok. Uczy�am si� z nich, zna�am ju� na pami�� prawie wszystkie regu�ki, rozwi�zywa�am prawie wszystkie zadania. Ale to nie mog�o mnie zadowoli�, je�eli moi r�wie�nicy wyje�d�ali do Albanii, Brazylii, Hiszpanii i Francji. Mog�abym nawet wyjecha� do innego miasta, byleby tylko si� st�d ruszy�. Ale nie mog�am narzeka�. Musia�am dzielnie to znosi�. Dla rodzic�w, kt�rzy mieli ju� i tak wystarczaj�co du�o k�opot�w.

Zm�czona przetar�am oczy i usiad�am na ��ku, jednocze�nie rozgl�daj�c si� po swojej sypialni. M�j pok�j by� malutkim, przytulnym i bardzo czystym pomieszczeniem. Pod oknem znajdowa�o si� ma�e jednoosobowe ��ko, koloru dojrza�ej �liwki. Obok niego sta�a p�eczka z jasnego drewna, gdzie trzyma�am swoje skarby, takie jak np. album ze zdj�ciami z wakacji, kt�re sp�dzi�am z rodzicami, kiedy mia�am 7 lat. Na wprost ��ka sta�a moja szafa z ubraniami i druga, mniejsza, na szkolne podr�czniki oraz czyste, l�ni�ce biurko.

Dzisiaj by�a �roda- czas na wycieranie kurzy. Z u�miechem si�gn�am po idealnie z�o�one i przygotowane poprzedniego wieczoru, ciuchy. Nigdy nie przyk�ada�am uwagi do marki ubra�. Wa�ne dla mnie by�o jedynie, �eby by�y czyste. Lubi�am nauk� i porz�dek. To dlatego w szkole wszyscy m�wili na mnie pedantka i kujonka. Nie lubi�am tych przezwisk. Ale kto by lubi�? Czy jest na �wiecie chocia� jedna osoba, kt�ra lubi, kiedy si� z niej wy�miewaj�? Nie s�dz�. Uczesana, umyta i ubrana w nowe, czyste ciuchy wesz�am do kuchni. Od razu poczu�am zapach sma�onej jajecznicy. Przy kuchence sta�a moja u�miechni�ta mama, za ni� na krze�le siedzia� tata czytaj�c magazyn „Poradnik stomatologa”.

-Witaj, kochanie.- powiedzia�a �agodnym g�osem mama u�miechaj�c si� szeroko.

Nigdy nie widzia�am jeszcze osoby, r�wnie pogodnej jak Danielle Grenger. U�miecha�a si� rano, w po�udnie, wieczorem, podczas snu, w pracy, w domu, na dworze, wsz�dzie. Kiedy by�am ma�a, obudzi�am j� raz o pierwszej w nocy, z wiadomo�ci�, �e musz� do ubikacji. Moja mama jak gdyby nigdy nic, u�miechn�a si� i zaprowadzi�a do odpowiedniego miejsca. Nadal j� za to podziwiam. Gdyby mnie kto� obudzi� o pierwszej w nocy, z wiadomo�ci�, �e ma potrzeb�, chyba bym si� nie�le w�ciek�a. Nawet gdyby to by�o ma�e dziecko. No dobrze, mo�e nie. Ale i tak jestem z niej dumna. M�j tata jest taki sam. Mo�e tylko jest nieco mniej do�wiadczony w byciu rodzicem. Najch�tniej na wszystko by mi pozwala�, we wszystkim mi pomaga�. Ale to raczej dobrze. Usiad�am do sto�u, zagl�daj�c przy okazji tacie przez rami�. Czyta� w�a�nie artyku� „Jak wyrywa� z�by, �eby zarobi� pieni�dze i wyjecha� na Hawaje”. W�a�nie przez takie artyku�y �wiat podupada. Przecie� to i tak wszystko stek bzdur! Sk�d jaki� dziennikarz mo�e wiedzie�, jak wyrwa� z�b pani Cook z naprzeciwka? Co� mi si� wydaje, �e nie wie. Bo nie zna pani Cook. Moim zdaniem, grunt to dobrze pozna� wymagania i uwagi swojego klienta. Dzwonek do drzwi, przerwa� moje rozmy�lania.

-Otw�rz, Hemiono.- powiedzia�a moja mama mieszaj�c �y�k� jajecznic�.

Pos�usznie wsta�am i uda�am si� do drzwi. Zastanawia�am si�, kto pragnie nam z�o�y� wizyt�, tak wcze�nie rano. Pani Cook odpada�a- wyjecha�a do c�rek, do Brazylii. Ma��e�stwo Wood�w le�a�o pewnie jeszcze w ��kach. Pan Cross by� ju� w swoich nieruchomo�ciach. Kto to m�g� by�? Otworzy�am drzwi i stan�am w nich os�upia�a. Na progu sta� wysoki staruszek, kt�ry wygl�da�, lekko m�wi�c, nieco… dziwacznie. Mia� siwe w�osy i d�ug�, siw� brod�. G�ow� zdobi� mu czarny kapelusz, na nosie widnia�y okulary. Ubrany by� w czarn� szat�, zapi�t� pod sam� szyj� oraz tego samego koloru buty.

Nie mia�am poj�cie, kto to by�. Bardzo mo�liwe, �e przede mn� sta� poszukiwany morderca, albo nowy listonosz. Opcje by�y r�ne.

Z ulg� przyj�am now� wiadomo��. A wi�c by� to dyrektor mojej nowej szko�y dla uzdolnionych uczni�w. Mimo tego, �e cieszy�am si�, �e nie jest to seryjny morderca, by�am zdziwiona. Zazwyczaj to rodzice chodz� rozmawia� z dyrektorem w sprawie tego, gdzie si� b�d� uczy�, jakie podr�czniki s� mi potrzebne. Poza tym m�czyzna, kt�ry przede mn� sta� wcale nie wygl�da� na dyrektora. Mimo moich podejrze�, przepu�ci�am go i zaprowadzi�am do kuchni.

-Mamo, tato, ten pan przyszed� rozmawia� z wami o mojej nowej szkole.- wyja�ni�am uroczy�cie.

Na stole pojawi�y si� trzy pe�ne szklanki- jedna z dymi�cym p�ynem, druga z czerwonym, a trzecia by�a po prostu kuflem piwa. Patrzy�am si� na to w os�upieniu.
