Wtedy coś mnie tknęło. Nie wiem, czy było to jakieś niemiłe przeczucie czy raczej obawa. Dość, że pomyślałem sobie, co się ze mną dzieje. Najpierw zapraszam dziewczynę na bal, jestem w niej zakochany, a przez ostatni tydzień interesowałem się bardziej zadaniami domowymi, niż życiem prywatnym. Poczułem wstyd, który jeszcze bardziej umocnił się, kiedy zauważyłem Digela, idącego za rękę z jakąś dziewczyną. Miał strasznie purpurowe uszy, nie wiedzieć, czemu...Wstałem od stołu z mocnym, stanowczym postanowieniem. Już się nie wahałem.
