Po prostu nikt nie miał już ochoty ani siły uczyć się po i tak już wyczerpujących dniach zimowego mrozu. Pomimo widocznego zmęczenia i rzucającej się w oczy senności uczniów, nauczyciele i tak bez żadnych skrupułów zadawali nam do domu tyle, że ledwie wyrabialiśmy przed 21. Jedynym plusem tej męczarni przedegzaminowej było to, że przez zmęczenie i obciążenie nauką i związanymi z nią kłopotami nie miałem czasu na rozmyślanie o przeszłości, a co się z tym wiąże- Missel i przepowiedni centaura. Jego wróżby mnie zaintrygowały, momentami nawet przeraziły, lecz po kilku dniach porzuciłem ten problem i zagrzebałem głęboko w pamięci, by już do tego nie wracać.
