Pozwoli³am, by odprowadzi³ mnie do pokoju. Da³am siê poca³owaæ w policzek, przyjê³am ¿yczenia dobrego dnia. Potem zamknê³am drzwi i pad³am na ³ó¿ko aby przez 5 godzin namiêtnie wpatrywaæ siê w sufit. Liczy³o siê tylko to, aby biec... Kiedy po szaleñczej ucieczce przed sam± sob±, a raczej swoimi rozmy¶leniami, wreszcie siê zmêczy³am, stwierdzi³am, ¿e nie wiem gdzie jestem. Nie zd±¿y³am jeszcze poznaæ dobrze Bedford, wiêc nie dziwne ¿e zab³±dzi³am. Bezradnie rozejrza³am siê szukaj±c ¶ladu ludzkiej duszy... ulica by³a pusta. Kiedy wtuli³am twarz w d³onie, us³ysza³am g³os:
