Po chwili jedzenia Avery siê odezwa³:
- A wiêc, Panie, móg³bym zapytaæ gdzie by³e¶, gdy Ciê nie by³o?
-Wype³nia³em obowi±zki prefekta –powiedzia³em szorstko i wsta³em od sto³u, bo siê ju¿ najad³em.
