W Wielkiej Sali zasta�em Every’ego i paru innych �lizgon�w. Avery na m�j widok zerwa� si� z krzes�a.

Po chwili jedzenia Avery si� odezwa�:

-Wype�nia�em obowi�zki prefekta –powiedzia�em szorstko i wsta�em od sto�u, bo si� ju� najad�em.
Przez chwil� nie wiedzia�em dok�d p�j��. Na lekcj� by�o za wcze�nie, w bibliotece kto� ju� pewnie by�.
Nagl� kto� delikatnie dotkn�� mojego ramienia. Odwr�ci�em si�. Przede mn� sta�a Lia.

Dopiero teraz zauwa�y�em, �e wygl�da jako� inaczej. Oczy i usta mia�a pomalowane, a w�osy spi�te spink� w kszta�cie motyla.

Dziewczyna popatrzy�a na mnie jeszcze raz, a potem wybieg�a z sali. Dumbleore poderwa� si� z krzes�a i podszed� do mnie.
- Witaj Tom –rzek�.- Co si� sta�o pannie Smith?
- Zapyta�a mnie, czy p�jd� z ni� na randk�...

Horkruksy, a teraz jeszcze to! Jakbym nie mia� co robi�.
- Ej ty! –zawo�a�em do puchonki przechodz�cej obok.- Nie wiesz gdzie jest Lia Smith?
- Eee... –to chyba ulubione „s�owo” puchon�w.- Tak, jest w dormitorium.
- Przeka� jej, �e Tom Marvolo Riddle chce si� z ni� zobaczy�. B�d� czeka� w Sali Wej�cowej. Jestem prefektem naczelnym –doda�em widz�c jej min�.
Dziewczyna powoli odesz�a. W Sali Wej�ciowej czeka�em 10 minut. Lia przybieg�a i popatrzy�a si� na mnie; oczy mia�a nieco podkr��one.
